Comment choisir un feu de navigation ?
Le choix des feux de navigation pour les bateaux-feux qui font route résulte de divers types de bateaux qu’il faut veiller et surtout de sa longueur.
- Pour les bateaux à moteur de moins de 7 mètres, il devrait au moins se fournir d’un feu visible sur tout horizon (quand sa vitesse ne dépasse pas de 7 nœuds).
- Pour les bateaux à moteur de moins de 12 mètres, il doit étaler des feux de bâbord et tribord et un feu de tête de mât et un feu de poupe.
- Pour les voiliers, il faut qu’il étale des feux bâbord et tribord et aussi un feu de poupe, mais si le voilier fait moins de 20 mètres, ces trois feux peuvent être aménagés au sommet du mât.
