C’est quoi une ligne de mouillage ?

La ligne de mouillage bateau s’agit d’un élément de sécurité qui  maintient le bateau à la bonne position en embarcation. C’est aussi l’équipement permettant un mouillage bateau réussi. La ligne de mouillage : la définition

La  ligne de mouillage est l’ensemble de l’ancre, de la chaîne et le câblot. Elle est aussi composée d’un émerillon, une manille ou une cosse. C’est l’accessoire qui maintient en place le bateau pendant le mouillage. Il s’agit d’un élément de sécurité qui est indispensable au bord d’un bateau, voilier ou à moteur. La ligne de mouillage est l’assurance d’une bonne navigation.

À savoir que le câblot s’agit d’un cordage qui a pour rôle de rallonger la ligne de mouillage en cas de besoin. En principe, celui-ci est élastique, ce qui assure l’amortissement des à-coups sans trop alourdir la ligne de mouillage. En principe, elle se fixe sur le point d’étalingure qui se trouve dans le baile à mouillage bateau.

Comment bien choisir sa ligne de mouillage ?

Pour que la ligne de mouillage puisse assume son rôle, il est d’une grande importance qu’il soit de bonne qualité. Vous devez donc bien le choisir en tenant compte de certains paramètres. Cet équipement se choisit en fonction de la hauteur d’eau à marée haute. La ligne de mouillage doit faire 5 fois la hauteur d’eau en dessous de force 2. Elle peut être à 10 fois plus que la hauteur d’eau par force 9. À savoir que la tenue du mouillage est assurée avec une ligne longue. Aussi, il faut tenir compte de la force du vent et du courant.

Outre cela, pour le choix de la ligne de mouillage, vous devez tenir compte de la météo. C’est à partir de cette dernière que se détermine la longueur de cet accessoire. Il est d’une grande importance de choisir la chaîne pour assurer une meilleure embarcation du bateau.  Celle-ci doit être conçue avec un matériau de qualité comme l’acier galvanisé. Il y a aussi les modèles en inox qui sont appréciés par leur capacité à résister à la corrosion.

Quant à l’ancre bateau, elle est à choisir en fonction de la durée, du type de fonds marins, des conditions de mer et de vent ainsi que des courants. Vous avez le choix entre l’ancre plate, l’ancre-choc de charrue type delta, les ancres hybrides et les ancres grappin.

Afin que la ligne de mouillage puisse fonctionner correctement, vous devez savoir le monter. Pour cela, la possession de certains accessoires reste indispensable. C’est le cas d’un davier qui sert au guidage de la ligne de mouillage bateau. Celui-ci doit être en accord avec le poids et le type de l’ancre de votre bateau. 

Outre le davier s’équiper d’un guindeau est nécessaire pour que la manœuvre de la ligne de mouillage soit d’une facilité. Si vous débutez dans le domaine, il est mieux de demander l’avis d’un connaisseur en mouillage bateau.
